Guest Joan Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 My font folder is full of foreign fonts that I did not install. I think maybe it was done through Windows updates and Word updates. Can I remove these fonts? Which fonts must I maintain in my OS? I do desktop publishing and need lots of fonts of different varieties at different times, any ideas? Thank you, Joan

However, a better plan would be to move the font files to some other folder. That way when some application falls over because it can't find an expected font file, it is relatively easy to move it back. Once you are happy that everything still works OK, then you can consider deleting them (and even then I would consider shifting them onto a CD-R).
