bouncing cursor!

In both, outlook express and wordperfect, when I try to write, at

every few letter-hits, the cursor suddenly, inexplicably jumps

backward to insert the intended letters into already written texts. I

have tried everything to avoid it (e.g. writing slowly, one letter at-

a-time). Nothing works. Any advice or ideas about how to fix this??

Turn off the Touchpad, or lower its sensitivity so the vibration from

tapping of keys won't move the cursor.
