This is very easy to do for any hardware, including Mac, iPhone, iPad, iPod, and Apple TV, all you need is the devices serial number. </p> <h2 style="font-size:1.2em;">Check the Apple Warranty of your Hardware</h2> <p>This applies to all Apple hardware:</p> <ul> <li>Locate the devices serial number</li> <li>Go to <a href="https://selfsolve.apple.com/agreementWarrantyDynamic.do">Apple’s Service & Support Coverage check</a></li> <li>Enter your serial number, click on “Continue”</li> </ul> <p>You’ll now see a screen like this, which gives you details on your hardwares Apple Care warranty status, including time left with phone support, if you’re eligible for repair coverage, and if you’re eligible for extending the warranty: <span id="more-12645"></span> <img src="http://osxdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/02/apple-warranty-status-check.gif" alt="apple-warranty-status-check" title="apple-warranty-status-check" width="620" height="391" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-12647" /></p> <p>Pay special attention to the remaining time left on your AppleCare warranty, if this is about to expire soon it’s a good idea to buy an extended AppleCare coverage plan. </p> <p>You don’t need to pay full price for the extended warranty though, you can get a sizable discount by buying AppleCare Warranties through Amazon.
