Windows 2003 cluster - install MSDTC resource into existing group using existing disk resource

Hi,

I was wondering what would happen to the data on a existing disk resource on

a windows 2003 cluster if I install the MSDTC resource with that disk as a

dependancy?

I assume the data would remain intact and the MSDTC folder be created, but I

would like to make 100% sure!

Thanks

Matthew

Confirmed, the data would remain in tact and a MSDTC folder would be added

to the disk.

John

Hi John,

Thanks. I tested anyway, no problems encountered.

Thanks

Matthew
