Guest Mark Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 Hello Please help if you can When I turn my computer on it I get a blue screen with the following error message: STOP: C000021a {Fatal System Error} The Windows Logon Process System process terminated unexpectedly with a status of 0x00000000 (0x00000000 0x00000000). The system has been shut down. I cannot get passed this message, even in safe mode. The only option from here is to turn the computer off at the switch. Have tried repairing with original disc but get as far as having to enter an administrator password, which I don't know. If anyone can help at all it would be greatly appreciated. Mark

If that's what you wanted to do, just hit <enter> as the default password is just a blank (viz: no password) If it was my machine, I'd run a RAM test first...just as a precaution

Guest Mark Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 RE: Please Help - Blue Screen - PC Won't Turn On I can't get far enough on to my computer to carry out these actions... I can't log on and can only get as far as the F12 Boot Menu but cannot boot the computer up at all. I can run a few diagnostic tests but they don't find anything wrong. Any ideas? If not... any ideas as to how I can retrieve my files from it without turning it on? Guest nass Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 RE: Please Help - Blue Screen - PC Won't Turn On Hi mark, You can hook the HDD of this machine to another Machine in a USB enclosure and rescue your data. Or you can use Live CD and try to uninstall the Came: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Live_CD Or Ultimate Boot CD: http://www.ultimatebootcd.com/ HTH, nass --- http://www.nasstec.co.uk "Mark" wrote: > I can't get far enough on to my computer to carry out these actions...
