Guest TJR62 Posted October 21, 2008 Posted October 21, 2008 I was trying to download 2009 panda global security into my system. I currenlty have the 2008 version and I was renewing my service. I can download the software but when I try to activate my services I get a message that pops up re: apvxdwin.exe is missing then I get a message of vcl50.bpl can't run because apvxdwin.exe is missing. I tryed to run apvxdwin.exe but it's unable to locate component. The application failed to start because VCL50.BPL was not found. Does anyone have any idea how to fix this? I don't know a lot about computers I just learn as I run into problems. I was having problems with spyware that may be in a compressed file but I have no idea how to delete it. I just know that it is in Documents and files/family/cookies. When I go into that area there is nothing there. I delete cookies and history everytime I am on the internet. I am lost and need some help. Thank you.

I am lost and need some help. Thank you. The missing files are part of Panda. You should contact Panda for help with their software. I don't recommend Panda security products; a better choice would be to uninstall Panda and install a better antivirus such as NOD32, Kaspersky, or even Avast if you want a free one. You should also insure your computer is completely virus/malware-free before you try and install a new antivirus: http://www.elephantboycomputers.com/page2.html#Removing_Malware Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
