Geek Posted July 15, 2011 Posted July 15, 2011 <div class="KonaBody"><p><img src="http://osxdaily.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/07/ios-4-3-4-update-download.jpg" alt="iOS 4.3.4 Update " title="ios-4-3-4-update-download" width="620" height="258" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-18758" /></p> <p>iOS 4.3.4 update has been released by Apple, the update is aimed at patching the PDF vulnerability in iOS 4.3.3 that allowed <a href="http://osxdaily.com/2011/07/06/jailbreak-ios-4-3-3-ipad-2-iphone-ipod-touch-using-jailbreakme-3/">JailbreakMe 3</a> to work from a web browser. Because of this, if you used a jailbreak like JailbreakMe 3, do not upgrade to iOS 4.3.4 or you will lose your jailbreak. Users who are not dependent on jailbreaking should upgrade to iOS 4.3.4 because it patches security holes.</p> <p>The update has been pushed out for all iOS 4.3 compatible hardware, in addition to a special version of iOS 4.2.9 for iPhone 4 CDMA users. You can download the update directly from iTunes, or you can use the direct download links below to obtain IPSW files per device.</p> <h2 style="font-size:1.2em;">iOS 4.3.4 Direct Download Links</h2> <p>These are direct download links for IPSW from Apple’s servers:</p> <ul> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1923.20110715.BnATg/iPhone3,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw">iPhone 4 (GSM)</a></li> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1916.20110715.V5rUA/iPhone3,3_4.2.9_8E501_Restore.ipsw">iPhone 4 (CDMA)</a> (iOS 4.2.9)</li> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1921.20110715.ItuLh/iPhone2,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw">iPhone 3GS</a></li> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1924.2011.0715.qP4r3/iPad2,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw">iPad 2 (WiFi)</a></li> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1914.20110715.Xdw2Q/iPad2,2_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw">iPad 2 (GSM)</a></li> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1917.2011.715.ZbLkn/iPad2,3_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw">iPad 2 (CDMA)</a></li> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1913.20110715.cvTyu/iPad1,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw">iPad 1 (WiFi)</a></li> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1919.20110715.ShHh4/iPod3,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw">iPod touch 3rd Gen</a></li> <li><a href="http://appldnld.apple.com/iPhone4/041-1918.20110715.MgWsk/iPod4,1_4.3.4_8K2_Restore.ipsw">iPod touch 4th Gen</a></li> </ul> <p>If you have any trouble downloading the firmware, right-click and ‘Save as’ and be sure the file downloads as a .ipsw and not .zip.
