<p>Want to check the download speed of something you’re getting from iTunes or the App Store? No sweat, from the sidebar click on Store > Downloads. Here you’ll see the whatever items are currently downloading, and all you need to do is <strong>click on the progress bar</strong> to show the transfer rate.</p>

<p>This works for the <a href="http://osxdaily.com/2011/07/27/check-download-progress-mac-app-store/">Mac App Store as well</a>.</p>
