Guest Tatar Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 I want to connect to my broadband line when I switch on the computer and log in. At list I want it to prompt me to put my password in it. I believe I should put the .exe file in one of the startup folders. Which one and how?

Normally, depending on the type of broadband, you're always online. There is no "program" you run. With some DSL connections and older DSL modems, you need to manually connect but I haven't seen one of those here in a very long time. Of course, I don't know where you live and what ISP you use. Guest Bob I Posted October 22, 2008 Posted October 22, 2008 Re: Start an Application at startup You put a Shortcut to the exe file in Start, Programs, Startup. Simply r-click the exe, drag, waiting at each step for the panel to open, drop and select create shortcut.
