iPhone 13 Pro Max won't vibrate when new email comes in

So I just switched over to the 13 Pro Max. I copied all settings from 12 Pro max... one issue I'm having is that my emails won't notify me via vibration. It just shows up with out any notification.... I checked settings and the notifications are turned on, I have it to automatically fetch emails. I even switched up the vibrate mode to one with sound and nothing. Emails just show up without a vibrate alert. I have gmail, on the gmail app they show up fine but not on the iOS email. Anyone know...
