Paired, no. No Office program was ever included with the operating system if that is what you mean by paired. Will office 2000 work on Windows XP, absolutely. If you have a problem we will be glad to try to help but you would need to post full particulars like machine make and model, version and SP status of XP and version of Office 2000 you are trying to install.

Hi Ms Blu, Paired? If you're asking about when XP was introduced, MS conveniently ($$) introduced MSO XP when XP was released. If you're asking will MSO 2000 run under XP, the answer is yes. -- Terry R. ***Reply Note*** Anti-spam measures are included in my email address. Neither Office 2000 nor any other version of Microsoft Office was ever paired with Windows XP, nor with any other version of Windows. They are separate products and are sold separately. *However* there are several OEM vendors who sell computers (and have sold computers) that come with both Windows and a version of Office. That's not a real *pairing* of the two products, but they are examples of vendors selling the two together along with a computer. -- Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP - Windows Desktop Experience Please Reply to the Newsgroup
