Remote connection

Hi

Is there any 3rd party applications that will allow me to remotely connect

to WindowsXP machine via HTTPS (SSL) like TS Gateway in Win2k8?

I have a WindowsXP machine behind SOHO firewall that has blocked VPN

(PPTP,IPSec) ports, so the only way to connect to this computer is via

HTTPS? I'm looking for some kind of service that will be installed on this

WinXP box, so that I could connect via HTTPS to it from outside anytime?

Any ideas how to do this?

Regards,Miha

Re: Remote connection

Do you have port 3389 open? If yes, you can use RDC.

One option is to use the free 2-user licensed version of SSL-Explorer

Enterprise edition. I used it in the past and it worked very well.

RealVNC or TightVNC can work through port 443.

RE: Remote connection

You could try gotomypc which I believe uses SSL as you can access your pc

remotely from any web connected pc
