My WAG is that ZA is stopping this. Look in its configuration settings

and/or post on the ZA forums for how to do this.

Hi Sam,

Media Center cannot join a domain. You can access shared resources if

you have a login name and password, but that's it.

This is true, but I don't get that he's trying to join the domain. He should

be able to use whatever gateway/DNS server his office is using whether his

machine is joined to the domain or not. Of course, he could have *meant*

that he really wanted to know how to join the domain and I could have

misread his question.

You are using DHCP. Not only does that mean you get a dynamically

assigned IP address but you also get assigned whatever DNS server(s) and

gateway that the DHCP server decides you will get. You will use the

gateway that your company wants you to use. Even if you switched your

TCP settings to use static IP addressing, you would have to figure out

which static IP address that you are allowed to use in your company's

network. Plus, it is likely you will get blocked from using any gateway

that is not within your subnet or within the boundaries of your

company's network. Go talk to your IT folks.
