printer properties

He,

I installed a ticket printer on the remote workstation and in the printer

properties I set that the printer needs to print a logo stored in the

printer-memory and also the cash draw must be opened.

If I print via local software this works (test-page). When I print via de

remote session, only the ticket is printed. The logo is not printed and the

cash draw is not opened.

Where do I set the properties for the printer ?

Server : Windows SBS 2003 SP2

Workstation : Windows XP Pro SP2

Thanks

Luc

Re: printer properties

Printer properties are not transferred from the workstation to the

session printer, so you'll have to set them inside the session.

291251 - Non-default printer properties are not reflected in a

Terminal Services redirected printer

http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=291251

243942 - Terminal Services printer redirection not signaled on

change to server-side Device Settings tab in Windows 2000 or

Windows Server 2003

Hello Vera,

I have tried it, and it seems to work.

So, thanks for your help.
