Guest mjc001 Posted October 24, 2008 Posted October 24, 2008 Ekiga used to work, but now gets stopped at an echo test with: Visual Studio Just-In-Time-Debugger An unhandled win32 exception occurred in ekiga.exe[5484]............. I've had the same problems, that have suddenly emerged, with MingSweeper, VirtualBox. I got rid of the JIT trap by deleting: Delete the following registry keys: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE \Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\AeDebug\Debugger HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\.NETFramework \DbgManagedDebugger Now it throws a generic Windows error: ekiga.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close........ windows exception code 0xc0000005 The problem may be actually with my Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000, but I'm not sure. Regardless, MingSweeper has the same problem, and I haven't exactly tried all of my programs yet. Have any of you had similar experience after the latest MS XP updates?
