Tried using wine to install a .msi file, but it didn’t work.

I installed wine from this link, Releases · Gcenx/macOS_Wine_builds, in an effort to install a .msi file, but it didn’t work.

The situation: I ordered a new keyboard, Mountain Everest Max, which has software to customize it and whatnot, but it’s only supported on windows. I know I can utilize a VM, or parallels, but with those methods I don’t believe I will be able to set up the macro keys to launch apps on my Mac book.

I was hoping by trying to install the software through wine I would have full functionality, but as I said wine wouldn’t do anything with the .msi file.

My goal is to do this as painless as possible since once I have the keyboard set up I doubt I will want to change it. Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
