gas0line Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) No sound on my laptop after upgrading to 7 from Vista (my mic isn't working either)... assuming this is a driver problem. I am using HP Pavilion dv2000 Entertainment PC. I checked on HP's website, but they don't have drivers for 7 :( Any help is appreciated. Edited August 16, 2012 by gas0line Quote
Jelly Bean Posted August 17, 2012 Posted August 17, 2012 Hello and welcome. My first choice is to use HP Update assistant: http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/Document.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&taskId=130&prodSeriesId=1817067&prodTypeId=321957&objectID=bph07165 This will scan your computer and check for hardware drivers and downloads... johhny-marshal Posted August 28, 2012 Posted August 28, 2012 The only thing can help is, you need to go online to hp.com and scan for the missing drivers. If there is any missing driver, it will automatically install that driver on the system. Quote
KenB Posted August 30, 2012 Posted August 30, 2012 Assume you have internet ? Try this link - I think this is what johhny-marshal is referring to http://www8.hp.com/us/en/support-drivers.html Click the "Search Now" to auto-scan Quote There is an email going around offering processed pork - gelatin - and salt in a can ......this is simply SPAM !!
