HP laser jets had this capability(which has nothing to do with Windows), but if you unplugged the printer or lost power to it, the printer would start counting again at 1. Don't believe the "low ink" warnings you get with most ink jets. I keep printing until the pages start to show the lack of ink on them. Bill
