Guest chesjak Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Hi I am using XP home edition I used to be able to boot up and go straight to the desktop without having to go to the logon or select a user screen. For some reason, I now go to the small "windows logon screen" where I can just click OK and I then move onto the desktop screen. I know there is a way to bypass and stop the logon screen coming up but can't remeber how to do it. Can anyone help please. Regards

Guest Ray Parrish Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 Re: Windows Logon I'm sure a quick google on "bypass windows logon" will give you what you need. Include the quotes for best results. Well, that didn't work, kept getting the wrong results, however a search on win xp logon resulted in the following link: http://www.kellys-korner-xp.com/win_xp_logon.htm But, the information in the following link is better and should solve your problem. http://www.computerhope.com/issues/ch000536.htm Later, Ray Parrish chesjak wrote: > Hi > I am using XP home edition > > I used to be able to boot up and go straight to the desktop without having > to go to the logon or select a user screen.
