PDF’s in iOS 18 have a bigger file size than iOS 17

Before on iOS 17, I would scan documents (one page, double sided) and it’d be less than 3mb. Now, on iOS 18 with the same paper, it’s between 13 and 15mb. Can anyone help me bring that file size down?
