iPhone Photo Roll Videos lost

Hello,

I have a question about the photo roll, iCloud and shared media.

I went to vacation with my partner and made a lot of videos and photos.

I’ve seen then there is a shared media option so I’ve invited my parter via link to a shared photo/video folder/album.

When I got home I wanted to use the videos from my phone but had not enough space to back my phone up.

I then went into my photo roll, marked every single one of the 1000+ Videos and wanted to put them into iCloud data so I don’t have them in the photo roll on my phone as I don’t have enough storage on my phone.

It then started to load them into iCloud Drive (so I was thinking) as indicated by a loading animation and I went to bed. I did this so I can access all the media easily from my Computer.

Some days later I wanted to see some of the video. They were not in my photo roll - as expected. But they are also not in my iCloud. Also my deleted folder is empty so they are not there either.

I don’t get where these 30gb of videos went to. My iCloud is nearly empty as I see in my iPhone settings.

The thing is: my girlfriend sees all the videos I’ve made in the shared folder. But I don’t?!

Where is this stuff if it’s not on my phone and not in iCloud data when she can access it but I don’t see it even?

Greetings and thanks for your help in advance.

TL:DR my media is not shown in shared media or on my phone and iCloud

EDIT:

When I go to my photos app/library I don’t see the photos and videos from my vacation in my camera roll BUT I see it all when I got to the folder that labeled itself automatically „Hanoi“ under the „Travel“ headline and every photo and video is in there? So this folder gets its photos and videos dem shared media but the shared media folder shows none of my media

Wtf?
