Guest /u/SquirrelBlue135 Posted October 29, 2024 Posted October 29, 2024 After updating to iOS 18.1, I’ve been experiencing issues with Reachability on my iPhone. It now feels less responsive and seems to require a longer swipe gesture from the edge of the screen. However, this longer swipe often triggers nearby elements, like a tab bar button, or causes the screen to scroll down on a list. I recall a similar Reachability bug with a past iOS update that was later fixed, so I’m hoping Apple addresses this one soon, as it’s an important feature in my daily iPhone use. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? And does anyone know how to notify Apple about it? Update: Turning off "Type to Siri" brings back the normal behaviour and Reachability is easy to invoke again. However, it would be great to be able to use both features. It seems that "Type to Siri" conflicts with Reachability at the moment. submitted by /u/SquirrelBlue135 [link] [comments]
