Custom voicemail greeting. Sound quality atrocious.

Is anyone else finding the sound quality of the custom voicemail recording that one makes on the same levels of AM radio transmission in audio quality ?

 

EDIT : I think I’ve figured it out. Apparently custom voicemail that I record is stored on my carriers end. Hence their tapes must be old
