Guest /u/InternationalTrvl Posted November 6, 2024 Posted November 6, 2024 Hi All, I recently came into several external SSDs and am trying to use them to boot to sequoia. I installed Sequoia on a drive from a 2019 iMac; all seems to have gone well, and it will boot successfully with that computer. But if I try to use the drive on another, sequoia compatible machine (in this case, a 2022 MacBook Air), I get an error reading "the version of macOS on the selected disk needs to be reinstalled."
