Guest ashmeadm Posted October 27, 2008 Posted October 27, 2008 I am running Win XP Pro, fully updated, with 2 Gigs of RAM. It recently started hanging for about 4 minutes on startup. When I check Event viewer I find the following errors : In Applications - Userenv and Application Hang; in System - Service Control Manager and ati2mtag. How can I correct these errors withour a new install? Thanks in advance.

Boot up in Safe Mode and see if it happens there as well. Are you using the current ATI 8.10 drivers? - Thee Chicago Wolf
