Found out that in college next year, they are requiring computers with 12GB of RAM and up. My Air only had 8GB, so I was planning to order an M3 Pro MacBook Pro. But then the M4 got announced, and I heard that the M4 Base is almost equivalent to last generation’s M3 Pro.
