Guest LookToWindward Posted November 9, 2024 Posted November 9, 2024 Hi, I Mac 3,1 3.2 GHz with 32 GB 607 MHz RAM. 2 x 16 GB in the Top and Bottom slots. It has been off for a while but I booted it, I got a Red LED on the top memory slot. I pulled it, took out sticks, cleaned it and and put it back in. Same problem. I swapped the top and bottom cards around and then fault moved. So I pulled a memory card from another 3,1 (2.6 GHz) put he stick into it and tried it. Now both top and bottom LEDs are on.
