Recommendations for switching from Windows to Mac for programming

Hi everyone, I'm thinking about switching from a Windows environment to a Mac and I would like some recommendations. I primarily use it for programming

 

But first what model do you recommend? I'm looking for a computer with good power to handle large projects and multitasking without any issues. I've heard good things about MacBooks, but I'm not sure which one is best for my needs.

 

Also, if you have any tips on switching environments, software compatibility, or initial setup for programming on macOS, that would be a great help!
