PSA: don’t enable Offload Unused Apps, you can lose apps you’ve previously bought if they’re removed from the App Store

I just went through my phone trying to redownload a bunch of older games and apps back onto my phone, and I’ve lost access to about 15 different apps and games I’d still happily use if they were downloaded.

 

You’re better off manually managing your storage rather than letting the OS make arbitrary decisions about which apps to remove from your phone.
