Guest /u/Still-Resolve469 Posted November 13, 2024 Posted November 13, 2024 I’ve run into a pretty substantial bug in the messages app across both my iPhone, iPad, as well as my Apple Watch. Usually, my phone lets me text anybody I want (a pretty normal feature in a phone, if you ask me), but one of my contacts is always causing issues. For example, whenever I click on this person’s contact to message them, the iMessage app acts extremely buggy, freezes, and glitches all over the place. The exact same thing happens on my iPad Air M1 (iPhone 15 plus and Apple Watch SE 2, for context). I attempted to use my iPad to text them, but the exact same thing happened, and on my apple watch, it just constantly froze. I restarted all 3 devices, forced closed each app, and the issue still persists. Also, this has been happening for the last few days. Either the universe is telling me not to talk to this person ever again, or Apple has a pretty big bug on their hands. UPDATE: I asked the contact if they’re experiencing any of these issues, and they said that almost everyone who texts them has this problem. How could this even be possible?
