Guest /u/Calm_Cucumber_5955 Posted November 14, 2024 Posted November 14, 2024 Not sure if its a version 18 beta issue but i noticed that when i minimize screen with a video playing from safari / browser or youtube the video will continue playing in dynamic island but recently this no longer happens . For youtube it just automatically goes into PIP , although one time i was watching. a YT short and minimized and suprisingly it went into dynamic island and continued playing as usual..but now it no longer does this and will just go ito PIP mode. For other apps like safari when watching a video and minimize to home screen the safari app goes to dynamic island for a few seconds and will play then crashes and disappears from island. Happening on 2 iphones i have so im wondering if this s a beta issue..just curious why i havent heard anyone else talka bout it. Ive already tried resetting and clean installation..was trying to downgrade back to ios 17 but now screwed as 18.1 seems to be the oldest signed version i can revert to. submitted by /u/Calm_Cucumber_5955 [link] [comments]
