Guest /u/Junk-Miles Posted November 19, 2024 Posted November 19, 2024 I just picked up a Mac Mini M4 Pro and I'm having display issues. Previously, I used my Macbook Air, Thunderbolt out to a BenQ dock, DisplayPort to my Samsung Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC) monitor. No issues with the display. But now with the Mac Mini, I use the built in HDMI port and first it would even let me use the correct resolution. Best I got was 3840x2160 and it's super stretched. So I downloaded SwitchResX to get the 5120x1440, except that now it gives me a green bar at the bottom if I choose a refresh rate over 60Hz. So 60Hz is fine, but if I pick 120Hz the green bar shows up. Any ideas? 5120x1440 at 60Hz: https://imgur.com/NoYU5E6 View: https://i.imgur.com/NoYU5E6.jpeg 5120x1440 at 120Hz: https://imgur.com/zhxBGZg View: https://i.imgur.com/zhxBGZg.jpeg Monitor: 49" Odyssey OLED G9 (G95SC) DQHD 240Hz 0.03ms G-Sync Compatible Curved Smart Gaming Monitor | Samsung US Dock: beCreatus DP1310 USB C Triple 4K Display Hybrid Dock.
