Can I add a non .ics subscription calendar?

Hi, I have a public calendar that I want to subscribe to. I can add it to my google calendar but it doesn't work on iphone because it is not an .ics file. It is calendar dot google dot com / calendar / embed etc

 

Any thoughts?
