Password app iOS18 - how is the list made? There’s websites on there I’ve never visited and entries that have disappeared

I was used to the old password function, and well familiar with the list that was in there. After upgrading to iOS18, I checked the password app to see that a whole lot of entries have appeared. Some of them for websites I haven’t been on in years (10+), some for accounts that are obsolete (no accounts / account deleted) and some for websites I’ve never been on…? How is the list made up?? Some show no username / no password saved so I don’t even know how this happened, especially for websites I don’t remember? In the meantime, some of my entries disappeared so I’m confused.

 

I also checked my app list and my emails to see whether I may have ordered from those sites and… nope :/
