Recently, I upgraded it with a CPU tray featuring dual 2.93 GHz Intel Xeon 6-core processors, totaling 12 cores, 64 GB of RAM, and installed Monterey using OpenCore. Everything worked perfectly, but after the upgrade, as soon as I turn on the Mac, the fans kick in with an unbearable noise. However, the Mac is not overheating; the machine is very fast, but the high fan speed is very bothersome! Help Source: MacRumors
