M1 Pro and LG Ultrafine: weird colours unless I toggle the colour mode every time

I'm having a strange problem with my new dual monitor setup... every time I connect my MacBook the colours are out of whack until I toggle the HDR colour mode with BetterDisplay (literally just change it to a different mode and back). This fixes the problem but I need to do it every time.

Anyone else experience this? Is there a way to script BetterDisplay to just do this automatically for me as like a workaround?
