Guest /u/New_Sweet932 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I have a problem with my mac mini m4 pro 24gb ram 512 ssd model. I connected 2 monitors to the mac, one with hdmi and the other with thunderbolt 5 (it is not a thunderbolt monitor, I only have hdmi-usb c adapter). So far for almost a month everything has been ok, I noticed a little lag when I restarted from standby but I think it is due to the fact that the monitors are a little old. Yesterday evening one of the two monitors (the one connected to thunderbolt 5) did not work (no input). First I unplugged the monitor and tried to connect it to the thunderbolt 5 next to it: it works! Then I took another usb-c monitor and tried to connect it to the thunderbolt 5 which did not work: this monitor does not work either. Has it already happened to anyone on the new mac mini that a thunderbolt 5 stopped working? Could it be a software problem and not a hardware one? I have already booked an appointment for technical assistance at the Apple store but I would like to avoid having to format everything or having to replace the Mac for something that can simply be solved via software. submitted by /u/New_Sweet932 [link] [comments]
