Guest /u/yuckella Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 I really wish that we still had the option to go back to the previous update if we wanted to. I'm not really against new updates or changes incase anyone is going to try to suspect me of being that. However, I do wish that for especially such big updates like this one, more so specially in terms of layout and such, I wish that we could have a choice as to wether we want the new layout and new design or keep the previous one. It seems like people from both sides get very defensive whenever this new update is brought up, so therefore I truly do wish that if it could have been possible - to give the choice to the individual user in terms of design choices rather than being forced to relearn a new one. I have family members who have suffered from certain mental problems or brain injuries that has made it harder for them to take in new information and be able to visually take in the new design of the photo app for example. Even more so since in this day and age you can't really live without a smartphone, why is it fair that people who might function relatively well with most things but happen to have some difficulty with visual processing have to 'suffer'? submitted by /u/yuckella [link] [comments]
