Guest /u/Mission_Report_69 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 https://b.thumbs.redditmedia.com/8IxUecL_oAaJf_2zIrQdWTtJR-XNSehMfgQGXdinYqI.jpg As the title suggest, I’ve found a simple hack to make the shortcut bookmark icons (custom icons) to follow system theme… Here’s the link for the video of the same in action Reddit - Dive into anything So… here’s how to do it Steps: Get the glyph(png cutout) of the app icon you wanna use as shortcut bookmark with transparent background Open a png editor and add 4 tiny dots in the middle of all 4 sides of the canvas of the png and keep the background transparent Save the image Here’s the link of a video showcasing the 4 dots added to an icon Reddit - Dive into anything (I’ve also uploaded sample png image with dots as the 4th image in the carousel) App used to edit PNG : I used “picture editor” by “App holdings” on android (unfortunately I’m still relatively new to iOS ecosystem.
