My clock's region changed to Korea randomly. What caused this?

iPhone 11 Max running 18.1.1 My region is the USA and my preferred language is English. I don't speak Korean, don't know anyone that does and more importantly, no one has handled my phone but me in the last two days. I was able to change it back; what I want to know if what could have caused this to happen. Could this be a sign of some kind of hack (idk if that's even possible)?
