Slide to answer bug

I have an iPhone 15 Pro Max running iOS 18.2, and I’m experiencing issues with answering calls, but only when I take the phone out of my pocket. Sometimes the “slide to answer” feature doesn’t work, and the screen doesn’t respond to swiping.

 

I’ve already tried restarting the phone, reinstalling the system, changing the case from Spigen to ESR, and even removing the screen protector. Despite all that, the issue persists, and it’s really frustrating not being able to answer calls.

 

The problem only occurs when I take the phone out of my pocket. If the phone is on a table, everything works fine.

 

Does anyone have any advice? The phone was bought brand new, factory-sealed from Amazon.de.
