But it somehow failed at the very last minute with the error message of “can’t read or wrote from iPhone” The first error I got while backing up to my macOS Then I bought 50 Gb iCloud storage and tried to backup there. the same kind of problem happening again with a different error message. The error was "the last backup could not be completed because of poor network conditions". Again on the last minute I get an error but this time it says network issue. Then I delete the backup from iCloud and start the process from scratch. Put the phone on charge, start backup and go to sleep. Left the phone overnight, at 09:00 am, 30m remaining Here I took a SC of me waking up at 09:00 am after I plug my phone to charger and left it overnight to finish the backup. It was last 30 minutes to finish but after 1 hour the remaining minutes went up to 40 to complete. Almost 10:00 am, after 1h and it says 40m remaining So it struggles with reading the data or uploading to cloud. but I don't think it is network related because I did speed test and it's all good to go. I think it is the same issue with backup with my MacBook Air. Phone can't read some files or there might be corrupted files..? Then I get "backup could not be completed" error while trying to backup to iCloud. Now I am out of options. I consulted apple support for this. They did a diagnostic for my Mac then it turned out OK. Then they again suggested me to backup overnight but it also failed. My mighty Apple iPhone can not be backed up. I can't change my battery without any backup.
