It’s almost been 12 years since I started using iOS and this was the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had with iOS. I’ve always had the best and smoother experience with iOS, but with 18.2, damn I regret updating to it. I have the iPhone 16 pro max and my phone resprings out of nowhere when i open the app switcher. Didn’t have this issue with ios 18.1. - Not all the time, but about 20% While switching the focus modes with different icons are either tinted or in different mode (dark to light or viceversa), the icons in the dock don’t switch to the appropriate mode and just stay as they were in the previous focus mode. Now comes my biggest complaint ☹️ I think the whole implementation of ChatGPT integration broke siri down completely. Even the simplest tasks don’t work. I use siri mostly via carplay and today i have had the worst possible experience ever since i started using it. I summon siri and ask it to add the ‘now playing’ song to library. It says ‘it’s already in the library’ and I just think to myself, maybe i added it to library already. I started listening to a new song that released recently (which i know fs isn’t in the library) and asked siri to add it to the library and it said ‘ it’s already in the library’. I thought something was wrong and i asked siri to add to library for the next 15 songs and none of them were added. The voice recognition for some reason doesn’t seem to work almost 40% the time. I ask siri to do something and the reply i get is ‘ I can’t help with that’. It’s super ridiculous that, when i asked it ‘ when is the full moon?’, it seriously had to ask chatgpt for the answer.
