Sometimes flashlight takes several seconds to turn on after pressing side action button when bound to it, sometimes doesn’t turn on at all when locked

iPhone 16 Pro on the latest 18.2 update. If my phone is locked and the screen is off, there’s a small chance that when I hold the side action button to turn on the flashlight, it will not turn on at all despite the UI saying it’s on. Turning it off and on again won’t work, but if I were to turn on the flashlight, then unlock my phone with a passcode or faceid, the light then turns on. That and if I’m actively using my phone and want to turn it on, it always takes a second or sometimes a few seconds AFTER the haptic to turn on, but if I turn it off then on again quickly it does it’s expected behavior, and the light turns on as soon as the haptic is played
