Some of my old work contacts have synced into my partner’s phone and we have no idea why?

My partner randomly asked why 50+ new contacts were in his phone and asked if I added them. We skimmed through and I only recognized 2 of the 50 contacts. 1 of which was no longer in my work phone because I deleted it like 8 months ago. We are both puzzled and can’t explain why this would have happened.

 

He asked if I manually added them and I said no. A lot of the names I don’t even recognize, but all of the area codes are local.

 

Any guesses?
