I wanted to downgrade macOS Sequoia to Ventura with a USB installation drive. But, after erasing internal storage, Ventura installer got stuck at ~30% and throw me an error that drive is corrupted. recoveryOS on internal storage suggests me to reinstall Sonoma (which is kinda weird), but I don’t want to install it. Is there any way to trick internal recoveryOS into installing Ventura, or I have to install Sonoma first, then repair my installation drive? P.S. changing date in installer didn’t work, even with Wi-Fi disabled. Re-plugging the drive didn’t work either. Translation of the image: “Cannot proceed with the installation, because installer is damaged. Redownload the installer and try again” submitted by /u/realadvenser [link] [comments]
