Guest /u/Stardog2 Posted December 21, 2024 Posted December 21, 2024 I NEED to get away from Microsoft, I've tried Linux, and it does everything I need it to do,, but I don't think my wife would be able to handle the involvement with maintenance that Linux requires. So I'm wondering if Mac is the way to go. But I have some embarrassingly simple questions. Will I need to budget for new monitors? My current monitors are remarkably good, I'd hate o have to replace them. The you tube videos I've seen seem to imply that special monitors, keyboards and mice are required, jeeze even new cables seem required. I understand the closed garden design concept, and I don't really have a problem with that. But is there a way to sort of financially ease into mac gear? submitted by /u/Stardog2 [link] [comments]
