can't disable bold text in Books "custom text" if accessibility boldness is on

I suspect this is working as designed.. if so I will send apple feedback.

To be more specific: I have Accessibility -> Display & Text Size -> Bold Text enabled, for my whole device. But if i open any book in Apple Books, regardless of font chosen, the text will be bold, even if Themes & Settings -> Customize -> Bold Text is turned off. ? Thx!
