Just bought a new 120hz compatible monitor to replace my old 120hz compatible monitor but I don’t have the 120hz option anymore?

Im using the same hdmi cable that I had when I was at 120hz on my old monitor. I’ve tried both hdmi outputs on the monitor with that same cable and it still only shows 40,50 or 60hz in the display settings.

 

I have a MacBook m2 2023

 

Also, is there any way to connect two monitors to that laptop? Right now I have an adapter to get 1 hdmi cable out of one of the two thunderbolts on the MacBook, if I buy an adapter with two hdmi or one hdmi one DisplayPort would it work? Because I saw things online saying certains MacBook weren’t capable of having more than one monitor hooked up to it.
