Guest /u/minhyungs Posted December 25, 2024 Posted December 25, 2024 i cracked my laptop screen on my m1 air of 4 years and i’m deciding between repairing the screen for ~$450 or upgrading to the m3 air or waiting for the m4 air for around $1.3k i need at least 512 gb storage, 16gb ram. i use my laptop for coding, video editing, and some video games! i’ve heard that the battery on m1 will not be good by the 5th year of use, but rn for me my m1 works perfectly fine. i’ve heard that mac airs last around 7 years. any advice would be helpful! submitted by /u/minhyungs [link] [comments]
